I am so excited to share my newest class offerings for quilters of all levels, whether you've done improv piecing before or not! Quilts from the Toolbox is a series of project-based improv piecing classes. In each class I'll be demonstrating the improv piecing skills featured in my improv block then giving step-by-step directions for making improv blocks or units just like mine. There will be tips and tricks along the way and I'll discuss options for making your blocks a little different than mine if you'd like.

Registration is open for these new classes. The live class will be recorded and available for a limited time, so if you are unable to join us live you won't have to miss out on the fun!

March 13 is our first live class, Quilts from the Toolbox 1. This is the quilt we'll be making. All the details can be found here. I hope you will join us!

I had a lovely time with Moonlight Quilters of Sonoma County today for 6 hours of Building an Improv Toolbox. This workshop is an opportunity to play. (You can join me for this workshop on March 29, 2023.)

I often forget to "take pictures" in a Zoom workshop. It's so different than being in the physical room with folks. Today I remembered to get a shot of our show and tell at the midpoint when we took a break for lunch. It's so fun for me to see the variety of colors people are working with and how the same prompts can result in so many unique outcomes!

Thanks for joining me in class today, MQSC!
