I submitted three quilts to QuiltCon and all three will be staying home with me come February. I'm bummed to not be able to attend the show this year due to a variety of schedule conflicts on my end. Congratulations to everyone who will have quilts hanging in Austin and to everyone who put their work out there and submitted to the show.

Judging from these images these look like they should qualify. Exceptional workmanship.

Post authorWell, thank you, Li. There are usually about four times the submissions than they have room to hang. My quilts are in very good company with others that were not selected.

I didn't even bother to apply this year. I don't think my style fits with the MQG aesthetic. I am not going to Austin either. Perhaps we can have an "I'm not going to QuiltCon" party or sew day.
