Some times the best of intentions just don't come to fruition. So here I am again with my twin sized Very Hungry Caterpillar quilt. This month's goal is the same as last month, to quilt 20 spirals.
I did finally get it under the needle on August 31, but I only quilted this one spiral. Still better than nothing. But I left it in the machine to continue during the beginning of September. With any luck I'll get my 20 spirals done in the next few days and check this month's OMG off the list! Fingers crossed. Let's do this!
I'm linking up to September OMG on Elm Street Quilts.

Good luck - some projects just are hard to get done for no good reason! I hope this is the month you conquer it.

Post authorMe too... I already have seven spirals done which is more momentum than I've had on this project with ages. Thanks for visiting and for rooting for me, Kathleen.

Good luck with this goal Sarah. The spirals sound wonderful.

Post authorThank you, Lisa. I like the motif and used it on a similar, but much smaller, project. The real challenge with this one is shoving around a twin-size quilt and the feeling that it will take FOREVER to finish. I also made the mistake of calculating the number of spirals I'll have to quilt. I think it's something ridiculous like 180!

You can do it! Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and good luck with your project.

Post authorThank you, Patty! Leaving it under the needle on the 31st has helped. I've already gotten 7 of my spirals done. :-) Thanks for hosting!

Maybe you need a soundtrack to help motivate you. Here are some suggestions: You Spin Me Round (Dead or Alive), Spin Doctors...shall I keep going or are these songs stuck in your head now?! ;-)

Post authorIt's amazing how a tune can get stuck in one's head. Thanks, Mel. ;-)
