Fiction and Fabric: The Undomestic Goddess

My friend Bernie, at Needle and Foot, hosted a sixth round of Fiction and Fabric. She took signups of interested reader/fabric lovers who wanted to participate and created reading groups to pass around a book. I signed up to read The Undomestic Goddess. I was sold as soon as I read Bernie's description that the main character reminded her of Amelia Bedelia. The way Fiction and Fabric works is that Bernie ships the book off to the next reader on the list, with three fat quarters that somehow relate to the novel. The recipient keeps the fabric and reads the book, then chooses three fat quarters to send to the next person. Here's the bundle I received from Kristie with the book.

I recently finished reading The Undomestic Goddess, a delightfully funny, laugh-out-loud book. I chose the following fabrics to send off to Bernie. I look forward to seeing how she uses them.

It was fun though I'm not a fast reader, so I worried I would hold up the event and asked to be the last one to receive the book. ;-)

I'm a night owl, so I don't get much reading in bed time. I'm trying to head to bed at a more reasonable time to allow for some more reading time. ;-)
