I've been enjoying viewing the Blogger's Quilt Festival for the past year or so over at Amy's Creative Side. Lots of great stuff over there! This year I've decided to actually enter a couple quilts.
I'm entering the mini I made for the Schnitzel and Boo Mini Quilt Swap into the Mini Quilts category. It was the second time I've paper pieced (the first being Ribbit from many years ago).
I had been admiring all the adorable #swakswap envelope blocks on IG and Flickr and just had to make some. My partner in the swap likes Tula Pink, so I took this as a great excuse to start my Tula stash (I was a little late to the party). The mini measures 13.5" by 13.5" I did some simple stitch in the ditch quilting around the outside edge of the envelopes and around the feature fabric since I didn't want the quilting to detract from the adorable blocks. I have one reject block left for me to use in my own project (you can see it in my original post), but I've yet to make any more for myself.
Thanks for visiting.
