Despite a busy, stressful week, I have some piecing progress to report. I think sewing is stress relief for me.
In an effort to make progress on my patriotic table runner, I pieced these two blocks. They were from two more kits purchased a long time ago. I'm trying to decide if the four 9" blocks will be enough or if I should make one more.
The blocks are Free Trade and Indiana Puzzle.
I also made progress on my mystery quilt. Yeah, it was on the back burner for six weeks(!) before I got back to it last night. I guess the pile of 297 pieces was a bit daunting to me. But now this pile of pieces has been turned into these 99 units:
Next up I get to make those short units into a bunch of 9-patch squares.
I'm linking up to WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced.
