I've completed week 4 for the Tula Pink City Sampler quilt along hosted on Instagram by Angie of Gnome Angel. More rectangular blocks this week. I have no idea what is on the horizon, since I'm currently zero blocks ahead. ;-) I'm really enjoying the challenge of fussy cutting and matching seams, as you can see in blocks 24 and 27. Some instagram friends thoughtfully offered me some fabric with critters so I can add some more cute little faces to my upcoming blocks. I received two packages today. :-)

I had to work ahead this week so I could post a few blocks from Disneyland this week. I've finished all the cross blocks now, and I'm working on the blocks featuring rectangles. I think my favorite block this week is Block 21, both since it was fast to complete the day after vacation (while three of us had a stomach bug!) and because I could sneak in a bit of my single charm square of feather fabric. I think Block 17 came out a little wonky, but I'm not sweating it in general and I think my choice of the purple print really helps mask the wonkiness. ;-)
